Reading about working out on blogs and fitness websites is fun and free but it’s nice to sit down with a good book every now and then. I’m sure the authors appreciate it when you buy their book, too.

This weeks suggestion comes with a small comment about the reviews based on this book. The suggestion from several of the reviewers is to use this book as a way to add some humor to your marathon training instead of using this book as a training schedule guide. I’m suggesting it because not everything I want to read is serious with stats and facts but more for entertainment purposes. I hope you’re entertained.

Although I failed the Juice Reboot in August of 2011 I am still juicing in February 2013.! I am proud that I am still implementing what I learned a year and a half ago.

I don’t normally document the juices I make. Each one is slightly different based on the ingredients I have available.

Juicing Beets Cucumbers Apples Carrots & StrawberrysMy juice I made tonight included:

  • 1 Beet
  • 1 Cucumber

I thought it turned out great! Juices have been an addition to my normal meals NOT a replacement. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been trying to do little by little for the website.

Creating a Facebook Page

I finally created a Facebook Page for Enjoy The Workout at EnjoyTheWorkout FB Page. It’s there to complete the Facebook and Twitter circle. I’m sure I’ll get around to creating that Instagram account also but I don’t like to do everything at once. It’s fun to have something on the horizon.

Linking Facebook and Twitter to http://www.enjoytheworkout.com

It’s been fun figuring out how to link the website, Facebook and Twitter all together so that each update on the website also posts on the Facebook Page and Twitter feed. I figured that if I’m updating one then I might as well let that effort roll over to the others. If I’m using my time to write a post I definitely want people to know it’s written and have easy access to it. Plus, since it is automatically sent to FB and Twitter I can spend less time sharing it the manually by posting links everywhere.

I know this is old hack for most people with all of these accounts, but I’ve enjoyed finally getting it done. I enjoy marking stuff off my list of things to do.
